We collect only what is necessary to provide the Service:

3. How We Use Your Data
We use the data we collect to:
- Authenticate you and keep your account secure.
- Enable real-time gameplay between you and your partner.
- Store your game history so both partners can view it.
- Display your name and profile photo to your linked partner.
- Improve the reliability and performance of the Service.
We do not use your data for advertising, behavioral profiling, or any purpose not listed here.
4. Data Sharing
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for their own commercial purposes. Data is shared only:
- With your partner: Your display name and avatar are visible to the person you have linked with inside the app.
- With service providers: We use Google Firebase (authentication and real-time messaging) and Supabase (database). These providers process data on our behalf and are contractually obligated to protect it.
- If legally required: We may disclose data if compelled by law, court order, or to protect the rights and safety of users or the public.
5. Third-Party Services
Audered relies on the following third-party services:

We encourage you to review their privacy policies to understand how they process data.
6. Data Retention
We retain your data for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, we will delete your personal information and game history from our systems within a reasonable period, subject to any legal obligations that require us to retain certain records.
7. Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have the following rights regarding your personal data:
- Access: Request a copy of the data we hold about you.
- Correction: Ask us to correct inaccurate data. You can update your name and photo directly in Settings.
- Deletion: Request that we delete your account and associated data. You can do this from the Settings screen ("Delete Account").
- Portability: Request your data in a portable format.
- Objection: Object to certain types of processing.

8. Data Security
We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data, including:
- All data in transit is encrypted using HTTPS/TLS.
- Authentication is handled by Google Firebase, which maintains industry-standard security practices.
- Access to our production database is restricted and authenticated.
No system is completely secure. If you believe your account has been compromised, please contact us immediately.
9. Children's Privacy
Audered is intended for users 18 years of age and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18. If we become aware that a child under 18 has provided us with personal data, we will take steps to delete that information promptly.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted means you accept the revised policy.
